I am a huge fan of EPN and it’s my primary affiliate focus. I love the program and it’s super easy to work with. That and there are so many tools out there that can help you automate the process.

However, I got an email from them yesterday and we have another wave of cracking down. I am all for this as I’m not doing anything they mentioned in the e-mail. The main thing you need to be aware of is transparency. They want to see exactly how you are promoting EPN.

This means no cloaking or masking the referrer to hide some shady technique you are using. Going forward EPN will be dedicating resources to review and analyze partner referrer data. In other words, the days of building thin junk EPN sites are going to be coming to an end.

It is critical that you treat EPN like it is a business. It takes time to develop a business and it should take you some time to develop your EPN shops. And that is what they should be, small shops that focus in on one niche.

Anyway, you have been warned. Beef up your EPN sites or be prepared to lose the revenue.
