Taking The Unofficial John Chow Challenge
I have been an Internet marketer for several years, but have never really pushed the limits of what I can do. Over the years I have tried many things, bought a lot of software and tools. some have helped and some have not. It has taken me a long time to realize this, but the tools have not been the problem. Software has not been the problem.
I have been the problem. It has been my own inpatients and lack of focus that has prevented me from turning this affiliate hobby into a full-time career.
I just watched an excellent video on John Chow’s site where he goes over how he makes $40k a month from his blog. We have to realize there is a process involved with blogging and making money online. There is a process and a commitment. If either are lacking, you will fail.
And, that is where I have failed as an Internet marketer. Being successful is not about taking shortcuts. It’s about building. I look back at the things that I have tried online and pretty much all of them ended because I wanted to take a short cut. Or, I simply did not give an idea enough time and attention.
John posted a really challenging video and it has motivated me to change my philosophy on the Web.
This isĀ not an official challenge sponsored by John Chow, I’m just trying to give credit where credit is due. In the video, John mentions that his blog was making nothing and then in the first month of monitization it made around $350. Then within 3 months he got that up to $3k a month. There is the Un-official John Chow Challenge.
Can you take a blog from ZERO to $3k in profit in 3 months?
Today is day one for me. If John can do it, I’m pretty sure I can as well.
