Opportunity To Make Money – Flip A Boat

Sometimes we focus so much on CPA type offers that we miss everyday opportunities to make some pretty good money. There are opportunities all around you, the concept is simple and you have the tools available. Simply buy something below market value and then use your marketing abilities to sell it for top dollar.

For example, a few weeks ago I got a really good deal on a bass boat. A guy I knew was just wanting to get rid of it as he was not using it anymore. Actually had not used it in two years. He wanted $1500, but I was able to negotiate it down to $1000. Considering it was a Lowe with dept/fish finder, bilge pump, live well… I thought that was a great price.

I took it home and tried to fire it up, but clearly the carb was clogged. So, I took it to a local boat shop and $250 later I had a fully functional and running bass boat.

I put a couple batteries in it for around another $180.

Then I had some fun with it and took some friends out fishing. And yes, the boat did catch some fish.

After being confident that it was a good boat and after having a months worth of fun in it, I decided to see if I could sell it for a profit. So, I tossed it up on craigslist with some good pictures and set the price at $3500.

It sold that day for $2900. Leaving me with a $1470 profit. I doubled my money, had some fun and caught some fish.

The point is there are opportunities all around you to capitalize on and put some cash in your pockets. all you have to do is pay attention and snatch them up when they cross your path.
